Copies are $0.25 or $0.50 per sheet depending on size and media type. Members receive discounts. Copies of materials are made at the discretion of the Society staff. Entire manuscripts will NOT be copied.

All Visitors - FREE

The Society is handicapped accessible. An access ramp is immediately adjacent to the parking lot.

Off street parking is available to the rear of the building.
Non-metered overflow parking is available on DeKalb and Roberts Streets. Please note that certain portions are unavailable for parking at certain times due to street cleaning.

Public Transportation: Visitors wishing to take advantage of SEPTA
should use either the R100 Trolley (high speed line) or the R6 Regional Rail line to Norristown Transportation Center.
From the NTC, board the Bus Route 98 which travels up DeKalb Street, which leaves
approximately every 30 minutes during "peak travel times" and on the hour during the

From Plymouth Meeting:
Take Germantown Pike west to DeKalb St. (Rt. 202 South)
Turn Left onto DeKalb Street
Follow DeKalb St. to the intersection with Johnson Highway
Turn Right onto Johnson Hgwy
Turn Left onto Powell St.
Turn Left onto Brown Street.
Proceed till Brown Street intersection with DeKalb Street, turn left onto DeKalb.
Travel along DeKalb Street until you reach 1654 DeKalb St.

From King of Prussia:
Take Route 202 North (DeKalb Pike)
Follow Route 202 N will go through Bridgeport
After crossing over the Schuylkill River, you will enter Norristown
Continue heading North on Rt. 202 (DeKalb Street) for 1.3 miles
The Historical Society is located at 1654 DeKalb Street (on right).

Enter through front or back door;
Parking is available in rear.
