Groups of eight or more must pre-book a tour experience through the main office at 610-272-0297.
Tours take 30-60 minutes, depending on topic, age level and interest. Tours are free,
but donations are accepted. To find out more about the offerings we provide, click on the above link. The Historical Society is the parent organization for The Civil War Roundtable
of Montgomery County. The Roundtable holds its meetings at the Society Headquarters throughout
the year. For more information, visit their site by following the above link. The Staff of the Historical Society of Montgomery County are pleased
to present information on several topics. Arrangements can be made to have the speakers visit
your location or meet at the Society, please contact the main office at 610-272-0297 for scheduling details.
Follow the above link for more information regarding topics. Since 2006, the Historical Society of Montgomery County has been conducting
interviews with members of the World War Two generation who have a connection with Montgomery County. The Society has compiled a
collection of oral histories that will allow future students and historians to experience
that period of history through the words of those who lived it. This project is ongoing and the Society will continue to conduct interviews as long as individuals are interested in participating. If you would like more information regarding this project, follow the above link. |
