Administrative history note: Wilmer Atkinson (1840-1920) was a lifelong Quaker and publsher of several newspapers, including the Farm Journal. These examples of Wilmer Atkinson's writings were collected by his daughters and sent to the Historical Society by Emily Atkinson Ellis.
Scope and content: This collection consists of the collected writings of Wilmer Atkinson. It includes correspondence, several booklets about postal issues, several issues of the Poor Richard Almanac (Revived), and several booklets concerning the Farm Journal, and a facsimile of the first issue of The Farm Journal.
