Clifton Hunsicker spent his career as a journalist working for the Norristown Times for twenty-three years and then with the Evening Register. During World War I, he worked as Chief of the Newspaper Division for the U.S. Food Administration. He compiled the three volume Montgomery County Pennsylvania, a History in 1923. He was also a member of the Historical Society of Montgomery County.
