As we near the end of 2024 and our winter break, let’s take a look at a past Christmas party held at the Plymouth Country Club in 1951.
As reported in the Norristown Times Herald on Monday, December 24, 1951, the Plymouth Country Club committee aided Santa Claus during the organization’s Christmas party that was held for members’ children. In the photograph we have Mrs. Marshall Wright, Mrs. John W. Sommers, Mrs. James Cassidy, Mrs. Rufus E. Palmer, and Mrs. C. Howard Harry who were on the committee. Party goers were entertained by Harry E. Thoms, Jr. (pianist) and Howard Johnston from Conshohocken.
